So I had the absolute pleasure of travelling down to the city this week and listen to the amazing Dr Sean Williams give a talk around storytelling. Sean was a speaker at a Defence Innovation Partnership hosted event, Convergence Series 2024 Event 2 – Science Fiction/Futures II: understanding present and future(s) of strategy, social and technological development through storytelling.
Sean spoke for about 20 minutes on science fiction topics around the theme of matter transportation and ended by reading a short story he wrote for the event. I have to say it was super cool to listen to hear him speak and to catch up with him in person again.
